Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Vidhya website, grading service, scanning app or student portal. By using Vidhya you agree to them. If you use Vidhya for a school or institute, you agree on its behalf.
1. About Vidhya
This website and the Vidhya service are operated by Veda Intelligence Private Limited, CIN U62090PB2025PTC065317, GSTIN 03AAMCG2509B1Z6, registered office A-841, Bestech Business, Towers, Sector 66, Chandigarh Sector 65, S.A.S.Nagar (Mohali), Rupnagar- 160062, Punjab, India (“Vidhya”, “we”, “us”). Vidhya reads handwritten answer sheets and suggests step-wise marks against an answer key that the teacher approves.
2. Who can use Vidhya
- Vidhya is for teachers, tutors, schools, coaching institutes and their students and parents.
- Teachers and institute staff who create an account must be 18 or older.
- Students use the student portal through their school or teacher.
- Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
3. Your content
- You (or your school) own the question papers, answer keys, answer sheets and other material you upload.
- You give us permission to store and process that material only to provide and improve the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.
- You confirm that you have the right to upload it, including any permission or consent needed from students or their parents.
- Do not upload anything you are not allowed to share.
4. Marks and your review
Vidhya suggests marks. The teacher reviews them, can change any mark, and decides what is released. Nothing reaches students or parents until the teacher approves it. Handwriting recognition and automated marking can make mistakes, so the final marks are the teacher’s and the school’s responsibility.
5. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use Vidhya for anything unlawful, or to harm students or anyone else;
- try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt the service;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload harmful files or content that is offensive or infringes someone else’s rights.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Our content
The Vidhya name, logo, website, software and design belong to us. You may use them only to use the service as intended.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Vidhya running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or pause parts of the service. If a change significantly affects a plan you have paid for, we will tell you.
9. Liability
Vidhya is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using marks that were not reviewed by a teacher. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Vidhya at any time and ask us to delete your account and data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we can.
11. Governing law
